Turn your Mathmatician in to a Math Magician

Always wondered about the magic behind mathematics? This is the camp for you.

We will explore number and card tricks as well as other surprising tricks that can all be explained with mathematics. Kids will love learning how to amaze their friends along with the math that makes it all work.

Camp is limited to 12 students.

Monday through Friday - blended with 2 hours of online instruction, games, and at home activities

Tackle an escape room puzzles and then build your own!

Perfect for kids who love to solve puzzles.

Students will tackle escape room puzzles, break down how they work, and then spend the week learning cryptography and simple mechanical puzzles that will allow them to construct their own escape room at home.

Camp is limited to 12 students.

In-Person Camp

Tinker with 3D printing. Take home one of your designs!

Perfect for curious, tech explorers.

Design objects using CAD (computer aided design) software and then bring your creations to life using our 3D printer. Take home a creation and wow your friends.

This camp will introduce kids to 3D modeling and 3D printing so they can turn their creative ideas into real world products. Students will learn to build 3D models in Google Sketchup which they can print and take home!

Learn to Communicate More Effectively

Public speaking is a skill that students rarely get to practice and is rarely taught in elementary or middle school. And yet, it is a skill that is invaluable!

In this camp, your child will:

• Practice speaking to an audience
• Learn how to give impromptu speeches
• Be more aware of filler words such as “um”, “ah”, and “like”
• Learn the importance of appearance, body language, and vocal variation

Students will get the opportunity to speak each day and will be required to prepare at least one 3-5 minute speech.

In-Person Camp

Develop focus, concentration, and critical thinking.

Chess has been proven to enhance creativity, academic achievement in math and reading, self-esteem and a host of other qualities that every parent and teacher desires.

This full day camp is taught by National Life Master Chuck Diebert. Chuck has lead Math Plus Academy's weekly chess club to win numerous individual and team trophies at competitions throughout Ohio.

This camp accommodates all skills levels from beginner to advanced. Students will be grouped by ability within the camp.

Camp is limited to 10 students.

Perfect for gamers and tech lovers

Design powerful, interactive games in just one week. Turn your child's gaming obsession into a learning experience.

What kid doesn't want to design their own video game? Students will use game design software from GameSalad to build high quality arcade games that they can access at home even after the camp is over!

Kids will love being able to play their own games on their computer. No programming experience required.

Perfect for LEGO fanatics

Explore simple machines like levers, pulleys, gears and more through the world of LEGOs. These camps are perfect for an aspiring LEGO builder's first experience with engineering.

Students begin to build a foundation for understanding how simple machines work. We discuss the basics into why things work the way they do.

In-Person Camp

Introduce your child to the wonder of robotics

Each child will learn robotics, programming, and problem-solving while they design, build, and test LEGO robots.

LEGO Robotics gives kids the opportunity to explore engineering, math and science in a fun and engaging way! Each day students develop teamwork skills while they work with a partner on a new design challenge. Challenges include sumo bot competition and more!

We have completely redesigned the curriculum this year, so if your child took a robotics camp last year, they can do it again and have another amazing experience

Camp is limited to 8 students.

Monday through Friday - Half day - Lunch is not included.

Explore the amazing world of robotics

Perfect for young LEGO fanatics

Age is just a number! We now have a robotics class for early elementary students.

It’s never to early to introduce your student to robotics. Students will work with LEGO’s revolutionary WeDo platform. This platform is designed to introduce younger students to robotics, allowing them to build and program their own creations.

Make Sure Your Student is Prepared for the Future!

I'm sure you've been following Robinhood and Gamestop - crazy story! Students are fascinated by it and want their own Robinhood accounts so they can "invest" - aka gamble!

This camp will use games and simulations to teach kids how money and investing really work. Kids will learn how cash, credits cards, loans, and the magic of compounding really work in addition to learning the basics of stock investing.

Build cool projects with electronics

Perfect for kids who like to tinker!

Experiment with a number of different science and engineering builds. Students will use MicroBit and Arduino electronics kits to build a pedometer, random dice roller, music players and more! This camp is all about hands-on creation and innovation.

Building and tinkering is a great way for students to learn by doing.

Turn your tech enthusiast into a programmer!

Perfect for kids who love computers

Learn to make apps using code.org's free App Lab -- a tool for creating “app-like” projects using Javascript (by typing or droplet blocks.)

Computer programming is a skill that most schools don't teach.

The flexibility of App Lab makes it perfect for beginners AND for students with some programming experience. The camp teaches students the fundamentals of programming and allows them to create interactive apps like games and more.

90 minutes per day plus at-home projects.
